The Deep Alpine Fry-Bake Pan is spun from .062″ 60-61 “O” temper aluminum then given Uniform Anodic Coating of .002 inches of clear hardcoat; weighs 8 1/2 ounces. These pans are compromised by having a wave shape to the rim with non-uniform depth by less than 1/8″ variation in height. This variation prevents the lid from fitting snugly on the pan allowing air escape during cooking. The lid wobbles on the rim. All other aspects of the pan are of good quality.
